As an unarmed patrol officer working with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
A valid guard card or security-related license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a logistics and distribution location.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, adhering to Allied Universal guidelines and client site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access, recognizing that working conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and/or other security-related activities as required by the site.
Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.
