Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.
Follow post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management and site leadership while adapting to changes in the working environment.
