As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activities and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and emergency response within the food and beverage environment.
Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuation support and communication with local authorities when appropriate.
