As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a strong presence at a busy logistics and distribution location. You will interact with team members and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly to support a secure environment. Requirements

Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior within the logistics and distribution environment.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with directing vehicle and foot traffic as required by site-specific needs.
Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
