As a Security Guard - Logistics Center Patrol in City Of Industry, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support gate and dock activity, assist employees and visitors with clear communication, and document observations and/or concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the interior and exterior areas, including the perimeter, parking areas, docks, and yard as assigned.
Control access for employees, visitors, and vendors by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when required by site procedures.
Monitor truck and trailer activity by observing gate traffic, documenting arrivals and departures, and directing drivers to designated check-in areas per site guidelines.
Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity, and report maintenance or security-related issues.
Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations, and complete accurate written and/or electronic reports as required.
Support loss prevention efforts by monitoring for unauthorized removal of property and reporting concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Use radio, phone, and/or other communication tools to coordinate with site contacts and respond to requests for assistance.
Follow emergency and incident procedures for situations such as medical events, fire alarms, spills, and severe weather, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
