As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution center, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors. You will help to deter security-related incidents by managing access control, checking badges, and providing outstanding customer service. Your welcoming presence and communication skills will contribute to a secure environment, reflecting our commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a retail distribution center location.
• Monitor access to the building by verifying credentials and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any incidents that occur at the front desk.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed, including communicating with Allied Universal management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity through attentive front desk presence and observation.
• Provide information and assistance to employees, visitors, and/or contractors, addressing inquiries and directing them to appropriate areas within the location.
