About The Position
As a Security Guard - Industrial Entry Desk in Oak Brook, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in welcoming visitors, assisting employees, and monitoring access points. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk while maintaining a professional presence.
- Monitor access control systems and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
- Communicate professionally with staff and guests to address inquiries and provide information related to security-related procedures.
- Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
- Support emergency response activities as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Collaborate with site personnel to maintain awareness of security-related issues within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
