As a Security Guard - Armed Federal Patrol Driver in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports with calm, professional communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a patrol vehicle to cover assigned areas and complete detailed activity reports. Requirements

Must have updated resume
Must have California Driver's License and be able to ride a bike
Must have 2+ years of security, law enforcement, or military experience
Must be able to comply with company policy regarding visible tattoos and piercings
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
You must be at least 21 years of age.
You must be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from Allied Universal leadership and/or public agency resources as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor logs, and directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with post orders.
Complete timely documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity reports, and communicate status updates to supervisors, clients, and/or emergency responders.
