As a Security Officer Patrol Guard in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Hotels & Resorts. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. At a dynamic hotel location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service to guests and staff. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, routine rounds, and a caring, reliable approach grounded in teamwork, integrity, and innovation.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with hotel personnel and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points, observe guest and visitor traffic, and report maintenance, housekeeping, and/or security-related issues that could affect daily operations.
- Document incidents, disturbances, and/or policy violations in accordance with site procedures, and provide clear information to supervisors and hotel management when appropriate.
