We are seeking professional, guest-focused Hotel Security Officers to support a hospitality property in the Denver Tech Center area. In this role, you will combine traditional security responsibilities with high-quality customer service and hospitality, ensuring overnight safety while maintaining a positive guest experience. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, observant, and comfortable working overnight shifts. Requirements
- Must hold appropriate security licensing in Denver, CO
- Prior experience in hotel, law enforcement or customer-facing security preferred
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and conflict-de-escalation abilities
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional overnight
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Standing, walking, and active patrol required for extended periods
- Open overnight availability (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) required
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional, welcoming, and security-focused presence
- Conduct routine patrols of guest floors, common areas, back-of-house spaces, parking garage, and exterior grounds
- Secure exterior and restricted access doors after hours
- Assist guests and hotel staff with lockouts, escorts, and minor requests
- Monitor for unauthorized persons or suspicious activity
- Support emergency response procedures as needed
- Enforce property rules and overnight policies respectfully and professionally
- Communicate effectively with site leadership regarding incidents or concerns
- Complete required reports accurately and on time
- Complete a Daily Activity Report (DAR) each shift
- Submit Incident Reports for any safety, security, or emergency issues
- Follow escalation procedures, including coordination with first responders and management when required
