As a Security Guard - Hospital Entry Check in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have experience working in a hospital morgue.
Have experience restraining individuals in a hospital setting.
Have experience with vaccines in a hospital setting.
Have supervisory experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a welcoming and professional manner at the healthcare location.
Carry out security-related screening procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
Monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Communicate clearly with individuals to provide directions and information as needed.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal protocols.
Document and report any security-related concerns, incidents, or irregularities observed during the shift.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate behavior and/or security-related threats within the healthcare environment.
