As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential high rise location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, use computer or tablet tools to report activity, and deliver professional customer service to residents, guests, and staff. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe resident and guest traffic, reporting suspicious or unauthorized activity in accordance with post orders.
  • Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
