As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within government and healthcare environments, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with the public and staff, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly to support a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and promoting a secure environment for staff and visitors.
Monitor and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the facility and/or surrounding areas.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
Support access control procedures by observing entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
