Job Description As a Security Guard - Healthcare Facility Screener in Escondido, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, including sensitive environments such as the hospital morgue. You will remain visible to provide a reassuring presence, interact with staff and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Experience working in a hospital morgue environment is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by performing security-related screening procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Greet and interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner while conducting screening processes.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Document and report any unusual activity or incidents encountered during screening duties to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, based on the needs of the healthcare environment.
