Job Description As a Security Guard – Healthcare Facility Patrol in Monroeville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
Work may involve duties in the hospital morgue.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals as required by the hospital.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and patients as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare environment to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including supporting evacuation procedures and/or providing guidance to staff and visitors.
Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with staff, patients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
