As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible throughout your shift to help to deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, where your role includes responding promptly to situations and supporting the needs of the facility. Requirements

Proof of vaccines is required for hospital assignments.
Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, hallways, and public areas, observing for unusual activities and reporting security-related concerns as needed.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local law enforcement when appropriate during emergencies and/or incidents.
Document all incidents, activities, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.
Support access control procedures, including checking identification and verifying authorized entry for staff, visitors, and contractors.
