About The Position

As a Security Guard – Healthcare Facility Full-Time Patrol in Monroeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Vaccinations required for hospital environments.
Must be able to work in morgue environments within a hospital setting.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized entry attempts.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or Allied Universal supervisors.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing directions to emergency responders.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
