As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the location.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance needs according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist with access control, visitor screening, and/or directing individuals within the healthcare facility as needed.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and other personnel to promote a welcoming and orderly environment.
