Job Description As a Security Guard - Healthcare Building Access Control in San Juan Capistrano, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the healthcare location to the appropriate personnel.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client expectations.
Assist visitors, staff, and/or patients with directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to help to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
