As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will remain highly visible, interact with visitors and staff, and respond to situations as they arise. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Complete required documentation and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.
