As a Security Guard - Full-Time Unarmed Patrol in Oxon Hill, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance to guests and staff as needed.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate clearly and promptly with team members, site management, and Allied Universal supervisors regarding security-related matters.
