About The Position

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Team in Urbancrest, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will help promote a professional environment, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and contribute to a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, docks, warehouse spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entries, exits, deliveries, and/or visitor activity while communicating with site personnel and drivers regarding post instructions and property access expectations.
Document daily activities, unusual events, and/or operational concerns, and relay relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.
