Security Officer Patrol Guard - Full Time
About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Guard in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access activity and visitor movement, following post instructions for restricted areas, employee entry points, and/or after-hours access.
- Support staff and visitors with directions, general assistance, and timely communication related to security-related concerns, alarms, and/or facility issues.
