Job Description As a Security Guard - Full-Time Patrol - Day Shifts in SAN JOSE, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
Monitor the premises for security-related concerns, reporting any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents and daily activities, following Allied Universal guidelines and protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment at the financial institution location.
