Job Description As a Security Guard - Front Entrance Desk in Burbank, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, guests, and vendors. You will help manage access, greet and direct visitors, support badging and check-in procedures, monitor alarms and cameras, and document security-related activity with clear communication. Backed by Allied Universal, you will work with a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Greet, screen, and direct visitors, vendors, and contractors; verify identification and/or authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor logs.
  • Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, phones, and radios; report unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating notifications through the approved chain of command.
  • Support office and studio operations in a tech and media location by coordinating deliveries, managing key and badge accountability, and communicating with employees and building management as needed.
