As a Front Desk professional at a busy retail distribution location, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing a welcoming presence and excellent customer service. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, managing visitor and employee entry, and assisting with security-related matters using computer or tablet systems. By maintaining a visible and approachable presence, you help to deter incidents and support a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, clients, and employees at the front desk, providing customer service and assistance according to site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and managing sign-in and sign-out procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal staff and client representatives regarding security-related matters and site-specific needs.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents occurring within the immediate vicinity of the front desk area.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, remaining composed and professional in all interactions.
