As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attentiveness. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required for entry and exit.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of visitor activities, incidents, and other relevant information as directed.
Assist with the management of deliveries and packages, ensuring they are handled according to site procedures.
Communicate professionally with visitors and employees, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.
Work closely with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or behaviors.
