As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to concerns with calm, customer-focused service. Requirements
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial services location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of the interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points, observe activity in public areas, and report irregular conditions in accordance with post orders and security-related protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete timely reports and logs, communicate key information during shift handoff, and assist with compliance-related tasks as assigned by the site.
