You will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. You will monitor assigned areas, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, lobby areas, offices, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, directing visitors, managing sign-in and/or badge processes, and monitoring for prohibited items per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching assistance, documenting actions taken, and escalating concerns through the proper channels.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels as assigned, and complete daily activity logs and incident reports for Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
