As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a utility location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, primarily by driving, to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergencies at the utilities location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the utilities facility to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, following Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and address inquiries or concerns regarding security-related matters.
Assist in controlling access to the location and monitoring entry and exit points as part of routine patrols.
Remain alert to environmental and operational hazards within the utilities environment and promptly report any irregularities or hazards encountered during patrols.
