As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming atmosphere. Your routine patrols and exceptional communication will contribute to a secure environment for all. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
Monitor for hazards or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and greeting visitors as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents within the utilities environment.
