Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout your shift, and assist employees and visitors as needed. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary based on the site.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as suspicious activities or unauthorized persons on the premises.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
Support emergency response efforts as directed by site-specific protocols.
Document incidents and activities in daily reports and logs as required by the location.
