Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with entry and exit procedures to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to support security-related operations and emergency response.
Remain alert and attentive while performing assigned patrols and/or security-related duties in a technology-focused environment.
