As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, assist visitors, and communicate clearly with both guests and team members. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity encountered during patrols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activities within the retail and mall environment.
Assist with access control, monitor entry and exit points, and interact with the public in a professional manner.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and local authorities as necessary regarding security-related matters.
