As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues, support access control, and document activity using site technology. You will be a friendly point of contact for employees, drivers, and visitors, providing clear communication and customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, fire alarms, equipment-related hazards, and suspicious activity.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, including production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving docks, office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Help to maintain access control by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or visitor authorization as directed by site procedures.
Monitor cameras, alarm systems, and other site equipment as assigned, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
Complete detailed shift reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Communicate clearly with site management, truck drivers, vendors, and employees to support orderly movement through gates, docks, and restricted areas.
Assist with key control and/or badge issuance processes as assigned, including logging, tracking, and reporting discrepancies.
Provide direction and de-escalation support during disputes and/or disruptions, and request law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Follow all post orders and instructions from Allied Universal leadership, and participate in required training related to site policies and emergency response procedures.
