As a Front Desk Officer at a high-end retail location, you will greet guests, support visitor check-in, manage access control and badges, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will use computer and/or tablet tools to document activity, share updates with onsite partners, and help maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests at a retail location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Staff the front desk and reception area, greeting visitors, assisting with directions and general questions, and supporting a professional customer experience.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in processes, issuing temporary badges as directed, and coordinating entry authorization with store leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to onsite management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete security-related logs and reports, document unusual activity, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions to support consistent operations.
