As a Front Desk Officer in a retail location, you will welcome guests, manage check-ins, and support access control while serving as a visible presence for security-related concerns. You will monitor activity from the desk, communicate clearly with store teams, and respond to incidents with professionalism and respect. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following site-specific policies, completing required documentation, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Control access to the retail location by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or authorization as required, issuing visitor credentials, and directing visitors to the appropriate area.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local responders and completing clear, timely incident reports.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a professional presence at entry points, observing customer traffic patterns, and helping to deter theft and/or disorderly conduct through communication and visibility.
