As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will make routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to situations with professionalism and integrity. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and other systems to support security-related operations, completing shift reports, log entries, and incident documentation per post orders.
- Control entry and exit of employees, contractors, and deliveries by verifying identification, directing traffic flow, and following established procedures for packages, vehicles, and/or shipping and receiving areas.
