As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned manufacturing and industrial locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, foster a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with clients and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Communicate promptly with supervisors and/or site management regarding incidents, emergencies, or concerns identified during shifts.
Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors by providing information or directions as needed while maintaining access control protocols.
