As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support guests and team members with clear communication and service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and partner with site staff to keep operations running smoothly while living Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and client staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail and entertainment location, including storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry, disorderly conduct, and policy violations, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.
