As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and document observations using site systems. Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances and controlled areas, verify authorized access as directed by post orders, and assist with visitor management and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources as needed and communicating timely updates to site contacts.
• Document observations, patrol activity, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic logs, and report maintenance concerns or unusual activity through established channels.
