As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to various situations, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to meet driving requirements. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the overall security-related operations at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment, including the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity, reporting any concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points, and interacting with visitors, employees, and contractors as needed.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, following established protocols and procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
