As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support smooth operations through clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading areas, trailer yards, parking lots, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access control points such as entrances, gates, and dock doors by checking credentials, directing traffic flow, and documenting arrivals and departures per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as required.
• Complete routine security-related reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate key information during shift turnover to support consistent site operations.
