Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, use a computer and/or tablet to document observations, and deliver helpful customer service to team members and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution environment.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading dock areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Monitor access points and vehicle or pedestrian traffic, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or restricted area access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and medical situations, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate key information during shift handoff to Allied Universal and client contacts.
