As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Requirements

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials of individuals entering or leaving the premises to support security-related procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees in accordance with site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the logistics and distribution environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of access control activities and report irregularities to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Collaborate with site personnel to support emergency response activities as needed.
