As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the residential location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff to address concerns and provide information as needed.
Support Allied Universal leadership with site-specific tasks and provide assistance during emergency situations as directed.
