As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a welcoming and secure environment at the location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. By remaining visible and attentive, you help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a positive experience for everyone in the building, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and register visitors as required.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Document security-related incidents and observations in a clear and timely manner.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries and provide assistance.
