As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and access control measures.
Support site operations by following all established protocols and contributing to a secure environment for personnel and assets.
