As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote a sense of security, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with staff, visitors, and patients to address questions or concerns, offering assistance as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols for recordkeeping purposes.
Follow all protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management to support a secure environment.
