As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and data center location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and communicating with appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building corridors, loading areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas by observing badge-controlled doors and/or vehicle entry areas, documenting irregularities and reporting them per site procedure.
  • Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, using site systems and/or written formats as directed.
